I sometimes wonder why people immediately jump to the conclusion that help is an external force, it's not. its, for the most part, within you. Go to a professional if you need help tapping in to your own power. It sounds like you are almost there by the fact that you are willing to recognize and address your issues with bulimia and depression; so just do your yoga and it will come. I tortured myself with anorexia and bulimia for almost seven years. I was dancing and practicing asana the whole time. When I began to practice "yoga" things changed. At first my yoga was running. I started because I was terrified of gaining weight, and continued because I became mesmerized by the breath and freedom. This allowed me to translate that feeling into my asana, and that feeling drove me into further exploration of what yoga really is about. I think this practice is a spectacular asset in the healing process because it unifies the spirit and body, and doesn't admonish physical limitations. You can learn to love yourself inside and out. I also think a nurturing environment supports this. Find a studio where the practitioners are a supportive group that you can learn to trust. I don't want to underestimate the power of professional therapy, but I can grantee that the healing must come from within!!!!!! One last thing, it has been five years since I began to heal. I only want to loose it at occasional family gatherings - but I don't, and I am still about the same size I always was with out the self hatred (not to mention ten times stronger). I wish you much love and light, Melissa Web Hosting - establish your business online Sponsor ashtanga yoga
