The idea is to listen even more carefully when you are tired. If

you are tired, have pain or an injury, just be very careful and go

easy. You can do a careful, easy practice. Of course there are

ups and downs in life that will affect daily practice from time to

time. The attitude of practicing every day even though you are

"tired" is not militant, just new to a lot of people. This attitude is

not meant to hurt people it is meant to help. No one ever said

you should make yourself miserable, and certainly SKPJ would

want you to be happy. He is a very kind man, and he is greatly

disciplined as well. I'm sure he was tired a lot too.

I was "tired" almost every day in the first year nearly every day, but

now I see how was just fear or even laziness. Now, sometimes

I am just really tired, but practice anyway and find that my body

has plently of energy to my surprise. Sometimes I can't lift my

butt off the floor. Sometimes I just can't practice, sometimes I

have to skip a day, sometimes I just do a little or a shorter

practice.

If you are that tired a lot, perhaps you are doing too much and

should stop sooner in the series until you build more stamina. I

probably learned the primary series too fast and could have

taken more time building up, in retrospect - but everything works

out fine eventually if you just stick with it.
