any pregnant ashtanga practioners out there? i am 32 weeks pregnant

and practice three to four times a week. belly-permitting,

i do most of the primary series, a handful of intermediate asanas, as

well as inversions - handstands, balanced forearm pose etc.

 

but as i enter my eighth month, i worry that inevitably my expanding

girth will restrict my practice to the point where i can't even do an

upward dog. i dread going to hatha classes for pregnant women -- i'm

very attached to a dynamic practice that only ashtanga seems to

afford.

 

anyone at my stage of pregnancy? anyone who practiced all the way

through to delivery? and how soon did they get back on the mat

afterward? was it difficult?
