Guest guest
> Looking for suggestions on how to begin teaching children yogic > philosophy & the 8 limbed path? What works well with a group of kids is to move quickly between poses, and not linger with details long in each one. Having your child practice with you helps them to learn. Videotapes for adults and children also help them learn, though loving yoga, and encouraging them to try it *when they are interested* is best. A teacher I know uses wonderful stories from the Ramayana about Hanuman and others. She does poses as she tells the stories that relate to the poses. It makes yoga fun, and teaches the beginning of yogic philosopy via the stories. Just my 2 cents.
