Although I have scolios, (I havent had any problems performing daily activites or playing sports/ However, I am beginning to have more awareness of the unevenness in some of my poses. If anyone has any advise regarding practicing Ashtanga with scolios-- e.g. asanas to avoid or modify or even if Ashtanga is a suited practice for this condition. Any imput will be apprecitated! Thank you in advance! oceanchild ______________________ ______________________ Message: 3 Wed, 11 Jun 2003 07:32:49 -0700 (PDT) richard sindic <sindiclaw Re: Writer Seeking Student Perspectives on Ashtanga Yoga Hi, In answer to your statement/question. I was raised by a Catholic and Baptist family, which translated into going to church every day of the week. By the time I was 18 and out of the house I was so over religion. Finding Astanga has improved my spiritual and mental health. I pray best, longest and deepest when I am in my moving meditation - Astanga. Do it all. Don¹t leave out anything.
