Hi Jon,

Downward Dog yoga studio. It's on Queen Street west, just west of Bathurst

St. They have Mysore style classes almost every morning, plus various level

1 and 2 classes every day. My fav. classes are the ujayi pulse classes

Tuesdays and Fridays at 7pm. They're the full primary series, done with a

live drummer keeping the beat for the breath. Very powerful...and two of

the three teachers have recently come back from Mysore and are very

inspiring. There are lots of other studios that offer a few Ashtanga

classes, including Sage yoga on Shuter, just east of Yonge street. It's a

beautiful new studio and the advantage there is smaller classes, more

personal attention and also great teachers. Yoga Sanctuary has two

locations (Danforth Ave. and College Street). They offer many ashtanga

classes too.

Good luck,

Cline

Go to www.downwarddog.com. All the teachers there are

good. Mysore Monday, Wednesday & Fridays are taught by

Ron Reid the founder. Excellent teacher inspiring

atmosphere. Location, 735 Queen Street.
