Guest guest
I have had a 6 day a week practice for the last few years and am wondering how I will have to alter my practice when I become pregnant. Anyone have experience with this? I understand that there are natural limitations and to stay away from deep twists but that is all I know. Anyone recommend any good books? Thanks? I don't know of any books, but I can recommend a good video. Mimi Loureiro of O2 yoga in New Hampshire put out a pregnancy ashtanga video recently. The video was filmed when she was something like eight months pregnant! I took many classes with Mimi when I lived in New Hampshire. Not only is she a warm and wonderful teacher, but she has a beautiful practice. You can get the video on the O2 website www.o2yoga.com I have also seen it for sale on the www.yogavermont.com website. hope this helps, and wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
