I've taken some Iyengar classes. I've observed that

Iyengar classes don't generally have the flow. Ujjayi

(sp?) breathing and dhristi (sp?) aren't emphasized as

in ashtanga. Iyengar emphasizes the use of props. I

have learned that both BKS Iyengar and PJ were

students of Krishnamacharya.

om shanti,

I know that Iyengar emphasizes alignment much more

than traditional Ashtanga. Breath, movement, and gaze

are emphasized in Ashtanga.
