Guest guest
Chad: Ashtanga Yoga by John Scott, is the best book for someone who is just beginning his Ashtanga Practice. Explicit instructions, terrific photos, encouragement and guidance -this book has it all. You can get it via Amazon or John Scott's website -but I recommend Amazon unless you live in the U.K. Best of luck and Namaste, Maureen --- shouright44 <shouright44 wrote: > Hi everyone -- I know having a teacher is second to > none, but I was > wondering if you all could nominate the best book to > use to get > started doing Ashtanga. Guest guest
Hi Chad, Yes, there is nothing better than a good teacher, but Matthew Sweeney does a wonderful job in his booklets that illistrate not only the primary Ashtanga series but second and third as well. I was fortunate to study with him for two months and he is nothing short of phenomenal. Anything pertaining to him can be purchased from www.bodyworks.com.
