Guest guest Posted August 21, 2003 Report Share Posted August 21, 2003 Namaste Ashtanga yogis, I have just started to do Ashtanga yoga before I was doing Sivananda hatha yoga but within few weeks of practice I see a lot difference between Ashtanga yoga and Hatha yoga. In Ashtanga yoga we sweat a lot and your body muscles build up like anything. This makes me more attachment to my body or Proud of myself instead of going to inner self. How can we avoid that and concentrate towards more Yogi path. May be I have to change my breathing pattern? I think I am doing Ujjayi breathing more rapidly than it is.
