Namaste!

About Urdhva Danurasana!

If you take a lokk at Guru Ji's website:

http://www.ayri.org/primary.html. Then you can see that he clearly

included Urdhva Danurasana in the primary series there. I guess

things change.

:)

I practiced with Guruji in Hollywood last year and he

had us do 3 backbends before finishing. My teachers in

Santa Barbara are all authorized to teach from Guruji

and they have us do 3 backbends then we drop back for

3 and do a series of handstands and scorpian and even

more backbends (all assisted). I'm also told that

Guruji and Sharath also assist in Mysore with the

backends just like my teachers do here in the states.

I got a glimps of it in the documentary "Ashtanga NY".

I've work through back issues, but backed off when

I've needed to and my issues have passed and my back

is stronger.

Good luck!!
