Tailoring your practice.

Hi Y'all,

 

I've often wondered if I should tailor my practice towards the areas

of my inflexibility. I also can bend backwards quite well but have

trouble bending forwards and what I'd like to know is whether it is

better to work mainly on forward bends until my hamstrings/groin

open and then proceed with a more balanced practice after these

areas have 'caught up' to the rest of my body.

 

What I'm concerned with is that if I continue to open my backbends

will it make it more difficult to correct the imbalance with my

forward-bends?

 

Any advice would be most appreciated!
