Hello everyone, I am new at posting, though I have being reading for a while. I live in Sydney Australia, and started Ashtanga Yoga 2 years ago for purely aesthetic reasons. I only practice 2hours a week through led sessions, and at home, very lazyly, I do some stretches and breathing to soothe my inner 'dramas'. I would like to get more aware of what I am doing, the aesthetical reason has been shifting towards an spiritual as well, long story. About the post on how long to stay in a posture,,, my very modest and 'ordinary' experience is that I find different postures more 'gratifying' and tend to stay in those for a couple of more breaths. Then, of course, I have to hurry to catch up with the rest of the class. I hope you don't mind my ignorance if I ask question about some 'words' you use. If it is too much, please, disregard them. I am trying to catch up with so many things, that sometimes I lose focus. Well, here's my first unknown words: 'satguru'. Can anyone tell me what it means? Thank you and sorry for the hash introduction. I will try to get more coherent as I feel more confident here. I would like to create a 'goodbye' phrase in tune with the practice, but, at this stage, coming from me, it would be fake. Take care all BB
