Guest guest
Dear Group I am travelling to Mysore in the New Year and have just had my vaccinations for Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Diphtheria/Tetanus and, Polio. My question is: has anyone had the Hepatitis B, Rabies and Japanese B Encephalitis vaccinations? are they necessary for Mysore or, are the local medical facilities of a good enough standard not to worry? Thank you in advance, Om Shanti, Guy.
Guest guest
I say go for the vaccinations! My partner did not have any and came back from India with a bad tummy- which then turned into IBS ( irritable bowel syndrome)- he's slowly getting better, but still has a long way to go ): Don't gamble on being lucky over there but go prepared.
