RIP Rangaswamy

In case people haven't heard, Guruji's tour has come to an end, as Sharath's

father, Rangaswamy, just died of a heart attack. Evidently, the classes in

NYC have been discontinued as Guruji, Sharath, et al., are leaving

immediately to return to India.

 

I was planning to take classes with Guruji in Encinitas this November

(hosted by Tim and Carol Miller), and they sent me an email telling me this.

Here's a copy of the email:

 

"Dear Friends,

 

We were shocked and saddened today to learn that Sharath's father,

Rangaswamy, died

suddenly of a heart attack in his home of Mysore, India. Guruji and his

family are

leaving New York and returning to Mysore immediately. This brings his tour

to an abrupt

and unexpected end, so we are sending this message to announce the

cancellation of

Guruji's classes in Encinitas. We regret any inconvenience this unforeseen

event may cause

you, and will be mailing refunds as soon as possible.

 

Rangaswamy was a sweet and humble man and a devoted grandfather. He will be

missed by

those of us who had the pleasure to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are

with him and

his family now.
