Guest guest
hello. i'm new to this "ashtanga group" but I've found that Mysore classes actually helped me memorize the asanas in sequence. Being forced to figure out what comes next enabled me to commit the postures to memory very quickly. In my experience, most teachers just require that you know the first two sun salutations and are happy to help w/ the rest. canteloupe1967 <obeymytiara wrote: Thanks to all of you for answering, and Lashannsmall, thanks for that link; i printed out the postures; you're right, memorizing them wouldn't be so tough, considering i used to have them memorized anyway. :-) ashtanga yoga, "lashannasmall" <lashannasmall@h...> wrote: > This is just a question, but why don't you just memorize the > sequence anyone?
