slight pain in the inner side of one knee.

and this because this knee is injured and operated 20 years ago.

do you know any diferent exercises to strengthen the inner muscles

of a knee?

the last 3 years i do more carefull and the most disturbing assanas

are the janu shirsasana C and the machyasana D.[specialy this one].

the good thing is that if i practise every day,the pain is geting

less, but is still there.

peace to all of you

Hi rafailgr123,

Both janushirsasana C and marichasana D are intense

postures that require a lot of patience. If your knee is bothering

you in these asanas it suggests that your hip joint is a bit too

tight. So take it easy and go little by little. It helps alot if you are

good and warmed up when doing these asanas. If you are

sweating alot, that's a good indication. One asana that really

helps with knee strength is the awkward pose in the Bikram

yoga series. I practice both Ashtanga and Bikram and I find

them to work well together. Remember that the knee is not

designed to twist- only bend back and forth. The hip joint is what

can twist- if it is nice and open. So just give it time and don't push

it. Your hip will open soon enough if you are practicing the

asanas properly.

Hope this helps, Jeff
