Guest guest
I attended a workshop with David Williams and he made some comments that may shed some light on this. He says that Guruji when he was teaching in Encinitas, California 30 years ago was getting enormously large classes, and in order to make people go slower he made the students follow the full vinyasa way. David commented that his friend Lino Miele learned the full vinyasa method and received great healing benefits to his back because of the heat generated by this method. If I recall comments by Lino from when I attended his workshops, I think whether you practice one way or the other depends on you, on how much time you have. You may need 2 hours to do the practice with the full vinyasa as opposed to an hour and a half for the practice using the half vinyasa. You could try doing the full vinyasa method on a weekend day when you have a lot of time, and do the half vinyasa method during the week. Have fun.
