Guest guest
I have been practicing yoga (ashtanga) for two years and, as most of you have probably experienced, it has changed my life in so many ways. I've recently taken my practice to more of a 'spiritual' level (reading the important texts and talking with teachers and fellow students) but am having tremendous difficulty finding the discipline or inspiration or whatever to start practicing asana again. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similiar or if anyone is willing to share some insight. Namaste.
Guest guest
hallo, its not only a phisical practice that we do, but also, a practice of willpower. the time we start practicing ,we use our willpower to break our laziness and to pass through the stiffnes and the "tamasic" state of mind. so apart of the phisical aspect, there is the mental aspect, which can bring a strong blockage. only if we are strong enough,[which is not a big thing], we can pass through ,[those blockages]. then we can enjoy the fruits of this wise practice, which brings lightness into the body and light in the spirit. so pass through, a little effort, which all the ashtanga practitioners we have to do sometimes. i hope i gave you a little inspiration to go on. enjoy your prctice. Namaste.
