I spoke to my yoga teacher who visits mysore regularly and he said the class is $300/month with a $200 one time registration fee. Rooms will range from $100 to $250 depends on your needs. Food per month is between $100 to $300. He said a safe number would be $1,000/month but could easily be lower depends on your standard. I plan to be there from Aug to Oct. I've never been there but I hope that's enough. He also said the first month is the most your going to spend, so if you spend more than a $1,000 in the first month, don't worry.
