Guest guest
Go for the Manduka mat, it is simply the best. It will last years and it gets better the more you use it. You will also need a cotton mat to put on top the sticky mat when things get sweaty. I tried a few cotton mats, find one that is a little ruff in the garment, the best one I got from www.theyogashop.co.uk Enjoy your practice Es -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: Jeff [jeffazi] Sendt: 15. marts 2004 15:48 Til: ashtanga yoga Emne: ashtanga yoga Yoga Mat Question Hi, I recently began practicing Ashtanga yoga and I need a recommendation for a good mat. I was using one of my wife's mats and because I sweat so much the mat became very slippery. Does anyone know of a good mat for people who sweat heavily? I've gotten a couple of recommendations already: The Manduka mat (the black mat from Germany. I'm not sure what this is made out of or whether it remains sticky when you sweat. It is quite expensive ranging from $68 to $99 depending on the source.) The Gaiam Quick-Dry high performance mat (this one is advertised with densely cushioned moisture-wicking microfiber on one side and sticky mat on reverse so you don't need to use both a mat and a towel. It sells for $40). Any comments or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Namaste jeff Links
