Guest guest
New to this site and I need some advise. I have recently been diagnosed as having some arthritis is both my knees (chondromalacia of patella or runner's knee). I need to change the type of exercises I do. Almost all the exercises I like involve knees, and I do not like swimming. Ashtanga seems right, especially if it gives you an aerobic work out. Knee problems are common. Can anyone give me some counsel, or refer me to a message in the archive.

My advice, which I learned from overdoing it, is do a modification if it hurts. I'm a firm believer that anyone at any level can do astanga. good luck, astanga is a very powerful practice!
