Guest guest Posted April 22, 2004 Report Share Posted April 22, 2004 i can see going without a mat esp if you have nice hard floors except for headstand and shoulderstand where your head/hands could slip on the floor (could be dangerous) esp if you're sweating. Also handstand with mat helps with cushioning. I have the problem of wanting to align my mat with the grooves on the floor and i dont even have a type A personality!
