Guest guest
>I have booked my flight to India and plan on being in Mysore for 2-3 months. I am deciding who I will study with when I am there. This strikes me as a very odd question. My assumption is that people go to Mysore to study with Guruji and only with him. His daughter and grandson assist but he is, I have always been told, the main teacher at all times. Why would you go all the way to Mysore to study with someone else? Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I had no idea that there were so many teachers there, although I was aware that a whole thriving tourist economy had sprung up around the Westerners studying with Jois. An acquaintance of mine was there recently and she studied in the afternoons with another teacher after studying in the am with Jois, although apparantly this is forbidden. Who's going to know? I doubt he sends spies out to see if you are studying with someone else after his classes end. As long as he gets your money, he can't possibly care what else you do.
