Guest guest
Jeff: Why not just send an e-mail to the shala's director, Guy Donahaye, and ask him who teaches what when? I'm sure he'll be able to give you all the info you need. The e-mail address can be found on the Web site.
Guest guest
My husband and I practice there and have been doing so for about a year. The morning mysore is taught by Guy Donahay, and the evening mysore by Greg - whose surname I dont know (embarassingly) even though I mostly practice in the evenings! Guy and Greg are both fantastic teachers, and are very traditional in their approach, both being direct students of Guruji and Greg also a student of Manju Jois. The led classes are taught by several people, and I am not sure who teaches on which night because I only go to the mysore, but I think the led classes are taught mostly by Laurie, who is Guy's wife or Regina. I highly recommend it if you want to study traditional ashtanga yoga. Also, they have excellent workshops, most recently with Tim Miller, and I think the next one with Manju Jois. See you there we hope! Namaste :-) --- jeffrz wrote: > Hello there, > Regarding the Ashtanga Yoga Shala in > NYC(http://www.ashtangayogashala.net/). > Nowhere on the website does it mention who teaches > there, leads mysore classes.
