Hello, my name is April, and I am new to practicing yoga as of a couple of

months ago. Right now I'm practicing by following along with Susan Deason and

Denise Austin on DVD. I borrowed a more challenging video with Rodney Yee as

host from the local library that I haven't worked up the confidence to try yet.

I think it is more in line with Ashtanga.

 

I walk 5 days a week and do the FIRM videos twice a week in addition to doing

the yoga 5 days a week. My goal is to work up to practicing Ashtanga, which

is what brought me to your list.

 

OK, so with that short intro, I'd like to ask a question. Do many, or any,

of you share the belief that Ashtanga alone is enough to get or keep one in

shape? Does anyone know if Madonna shares this view and whether or not this is

all she does? (I'm a big fan of hers.)
