Guest guest
Hey everyone- I'm new to the group, but I've been through the archives, and I can't find much information from anyone who's been to Mysore to study with Sri Pattabhi Jois. Is there anyone out there who's done it and has some words of wisdom? I've been doing a lot of research on the many teachers in Mysore and beyond, but I think I'm going to study with the Guruji, since I'm going that far. I wonder where people have lived during their time in Mysore. Any words of wisdom? Any reasons to choose another teacher? I look forward to any information! Cheers, Annie

Guest guest
I have yet to go to Mysore to practice, but I found reading a blog by those who have gone very insightful and informative. Here's the link to the start of the blog in December 2003: http://www.yogaisyouth.com/blog/archive/2003_12.html You can s to read about their time in Mysore, starting in January 2004. They talk about where they live and where others live, as well as where they eat, how they get around, etc. Really interesting to me... I hope some day I have the money and time to go there. -Heather Marie > Message: 1 > Sun, 05 Sep 2004 04:36:13 -0000 > "anaisnin1_2" <anaisnin1_2 > Practice in Mysore > > Hey everyone- > I'm new to the group, but I've been through the archives, and I can't > find much information from anyone who's been to Mysore to study with > Sri Pattabhi Jois.
