Guest guest Posted October 23, 2004 Report Share Posted October 23, 2004 Tightness in the calves I wonder if other people ocasionally experience tightness in the calves. I have not previously experience tightness there after yoga. Recently I have started being able on some days to reach the floor in Prasarita Padottanasana A. I do not know if that stretching caused me to get tightness in the calves. Coming out of Suptakonasana, I usually have problems and have to remind myself, "land on the thighs with control, fall gently, don't drop yourself." If I don't do this with awareness, I land hard on the back of my feet. This week I once landed hard on the back of my feet. I wonder if this somehow affected the calves, the back of the lower leg. I like to write questions here, because it is a forum where peole who may have experienced the same thing can share their experience and knowledge. Thank you and Namaste.
