Multiple vs Single Astanga Teacher(s)

Hi All,

Want to get some feedback from the group.

At First - About 3 years ago went to a lead class by SKPJ, it was so

amazing and changed my life forever.

>From Books and CD's - There were no local classes so I practiced on

my own for 2.5 years. I do not recommend doing this unless one has

to.

Past 6 months - Have been going to Mysore classes with 1 primary

instructor, and 2-3 back-up instructors. Kind of feel like I have 3-4

instructors in one shala. Each instructor has their own adjustments

which they give me.

Tuesday - Went to another shala on (due to a closure) with 1 teacher

and the level of instruction was spectacular. I don't want to leave

my current shala, but the thought of having 1 regular instructor

seams good, kind of like getting more focused.

Overall - Feel like I'm kind of torn. Have any of you ever been in a

simmilar situation.

Any Advise?

I can only say that I like to go to multiple studios and work with as many

instructors as possible. Yes, I do have two gurus, but I always welcome the

chance to practice with somebody knew.

For me, I figure you just never know who's going to offer you something that

you'll totally resonate with.
