Hi Everyone

I wrote the inquiry as to Guruji's schedule in the US. I've noticed that the

tentative schedule is posted in ashtanga.com. I'll continue to check there from

time to time for information on registration and location. Thanks.

Regarding hamstrings problems while doing Supta Padangustasana B, I haven't hurt

myself in that asana and I bike about the same amount weekly. My hamstrings are

tight. I've been learning to contract (pull up) the front of the legs (the

thighs) in forward bends to let the hamstrings relax. Slowly the hamstrings are

giving in in most forward bending asanas. I'm not a physician, but I would

continue to practice, listening to your body to tell you how much to do. Healing

occurs over time, it's not instant. Hope that helps

Namaste

Arturo

1. Hamstring Injury

I've been practicing the Ashtanga primary series for almost 2 years.

I injured what I think is the connecting ligament between my

hamstring and the sitting bone.
