Guest guest
Hi Sandra, I know you possibly have heard it all before, and I guess it is frustrating however, You are doing your Ashtanga practise babe!. Focus on being in the present moment and be happy with what you can do now, not what you could do in the past or hope to do in the future. The befit of injuries is that it brings incredible awareness into that area and your practise in general. Embrace this opportunity to discover what other aspects of your practise you can develop on a deeper level other that just the physical aspects. Once you let go of where your are going and and feel where you are now, trust me , your body will open up once more. I am attempting to return to first series practice, but have difficulty with lower back pain - my lumbar and sacrum locks up. I am continuing with physical therapy, acupuncture, meditation, pranayama, added Reiki, Qi Gong, I can do Surya Namaskar and standing postures and the 3 final seated postures and take an occasional Bikram class (heavily modified), but I would really prefer to get my Ashtanga practice back before I hit 50 (I'm 47). Any ideas? This is driving me bonkers.... sandra ashtanga yoga, gambir wrote: > i noticed that when i started i had a run of > stiffness/achng in my lower back. i think it was from poor form > than anything else; our instructor just told me to > keep a good abdominal lock with my sitting bones > tucked in. worked for me. ashtanga yoga Find local movie times and trailers on Movies.
