Guest guest
Dear friends, I have a question that I hope someone will be able to give me some kind of answer to. I read these messages about people who have become vegetarian, given up sugar and other things and I seem to have a difficult time controlling similar aspects of my life that has to do with food and I guess also materialistic items as well. My question is how do you go about making these changes and has anybody out there really struggled with this and succeeded. I appreciate with thanks any input from anyone on this. Guest guest
Hi, Ive not yet become vegetarian, but i might eventually. I stoped using sugar and dont eat sweets, candy and other things like the obvious stuff with white wheat etc. This i manage to do 3 weeks ago, with no effort. Im pretty new to ashtanga, but after two weeks of daily practice i actually felt i had more energy than usualy, so i wondered what i should do with it. And i decide to stop eating sugar I usualy eat lots of candy and sweets 3 times a day in the past, after lunch, after dinner and night watching tv. And this i did every singel day. What suprised we was that it was not a struggle to stop eating all thoose sweets, i manage to do this with no effort at all. I just stoped! The first day without sweets was weird, ive never felt so tired! I was completly out of energy. But.. no cravings for sweets! I couldnt do much of anything that day, all was a blur. And i slept for ever. The day after felt pretty normal, but the entire first week i was so tired. But now, some weeks later im fine, and no thoughts at all about eating sweets. Still no struggle. I just keep practice ashtanga in the morning. But i do eat something from time to time, and thats fruit or nuts. Except for my meals, that is. be well, ashtanga yoga, "Hege Nordskog" <hehege> wrote: > > > Dear friends, > > I have a question that I hope someone will be able to give me some > kind of answer to. > > I read these messages about people who have become vegetarian, given > up sugar and other things and I seem to have a difficult time > controlling similar aspects of my life that has to do with food and > I guess also materialistic items as well.
