Guest guest
While in arm balances, try focusing on your third eye not looking at the third eye. And engage your abdominals to feel lighter. Once I discovered this, my arm balances have felt lighter and I can hold them longer and breathe easily too. This applies to all arm balances (as far as I know). Gayathri. Guest guest
no, it makes no difference if you breath shallow or deep. Your knees are in your armpits and the expansion of chest doesn¹t interfere with the posture (at least in my body the legs don¹t touch the chest) I believe it is all in the focus (concentration) and the proper distribution of the weight. you should go forward enough with your body to find the balance and then use your body to pull yourself up. the more vertical the body, the straighter the arms can be and the easier the posture becomes. Of course you need strong wrists and arms. jana
