After reading it, my observation is that those exercises appear to be already in the ashtanga yoga sequences. IMO I don't see a harm in doing those exercises in the morning and your regular ashtanga in the evening. But it might make more sense to do breathing exercises or meditation in the morning (pranayama) and then your vinasa yoga practice in the evenings, if that is what your schedule allows. (I practice the reverse, yoga in the mornings and meditation in the evenings.) These matters are a personal choice depending on the way you live your life. However, the tradition is to do asana practice in the mornings...
