Guest guest
Many years ago while practicing with David Swenson he said that everything is a handstand including jumpbacks. It is true. If you can do a handstand with control, and ease lifting the feet with control up into the air, the jumpbacks are easy. Practice, practice, practice. Good luck. Guest guest
I'm interested in this question too... specifically, the one yoga pose of the primary series I do not do at all is the handstand. Should I at least attempt this? Do you have any advice for someone trying to learn handstand?? Thanks again. cleoed2002 <jasminerose wrote: ashtanga yoga, "stranded711" <stranded711> wrote: > Hi jasminerose here I can do jumpbacks but not handstands . is there any reason why that you know off? thank you. > > I read this post and I have been incorporating it into my practice at > home (since I dont have access to a Ashtanga yoga class), it has > helped me, thank you, Curt > > ashtanga yoga, debra bobier <debbobier> > wrote: > > > > Many years ago while practicing with David Swenson he > > said that everything is a handstand including > > jumpbacks.
