Guest guest
Hi Handstand is a particular challenge for me but I can do it at home against a wall, while I'm getting more adept. If you haven't tried this asana, I would advice learning in a workshop, or asking your teacher to spot you during practice, until you feel comfortable doing it at home without hurting yourself. You could try doing it against a bed, in case you fall, it's there to pick you up. But do it carefully; it's no fun hurting yourself - I've stubbed toes while falling, ruined a pair of eyeglasses, or otherwise hit my foot sufficiently bad to need to wear sneakers to work for a while. I'm interested in this question too... specifically, the one yoga pose of the primary series I do not do at all is the handstand. Should I at least attempt this? Do you have any advice for someone trying to learn handstand?? Thanks again. cleoed2002 <jasminerose wrote:
