Guest guest
Hi You should listen to your body. Maybe practice less intensley during the cold. Some asanas are good for the cold and according to Guruji you should hold longer at times of colds, such as Kurmasana and other foward bending asanas, that warm up the chest and help burn up the phlegm. (Read about it in Lino Miele's Ashtanga book, where the benefits of each asana is described). Just listen to your body as to how much energy you have and practice accordingly Namaste Arturo Message: 8 Wed, 11 May 2005 22:50:38 -0000 "jewelboy212003" <mazzyboy21 Practise when got a cold I was just wondering if somebody could please help me out. I've got a cold at the moment that I've had all week. My throat is a little sore but that's it. No one around me has gotten it. Is doing a practise a bad idea while in this condition? will it help or not? should I just rest until 100%? does Ashtanga help when you're unwell? I'm craving to do a practise. It's like telling a 4 year old that they missed christmas because they slept through it...lol Hope you can help. ______________________ ______________________ ------ ------
