I just bought a Manduka mat, and ordered their mat cleaner while I was at

it. One can use it daily or less frequently. I haven't tried it but decided

to order it because a friend contracted a bad case of ringworm lately and he

feels it came from his mat contacting the infection in sweaty ashtanga

class... I don't nec. agree, but it's been months now and he still can't get

rid of it so it's something to be aware of, anyways. (He's abstaining from

classes until it's gone. And haircuts too, poor man. :) )

Here's a link to the Yoga Mat soap, which I haven't tried yet so can't post

any results or opinions. It's only ten bucks so it might be worth a try.

.... and below is the description of the product from the website. I'm not

affiliated with Manduka in any way, blah blah blah. :) (But I'm sure going

to enjoy having a mat that lasts longer than a year, and not filling up our

landfills!) ;)

hope this helps,

tina
