Guest guest
Gayathri, Now that was really funny!!!!! Sorry, I just don't have much time after class to do all those steps you have suggested everyday, so I've shortened the process, let's just call it the "2 step" cleaning process. Step 1) Lightly spraying "Natural Organic Vanilla Oil Mist" over your Manduka Mat and burning off a little of the the top layer, everyday. Step 2) Wraping your Mysore Mat in Reynolds Recyclable PVC Foodservice Grade (keeps the germs out), then roll it up. Your good to go.... Guest guest
Personally, I prefer cleaning my mat once in 6 months. Yeah, I like to wallow in my own dirt;) Now, that's not disgusting. Just like the unsaid fact that humans enjoy the aroma of their respective gaseous emissions;) Everytime, I washed my mat, my practice would be ruined as I would be slipping all over the mat for atleast 2 weeks. I am not sure if others have this problem. But this really annoyed me. Gayathri.
