Guest guest
Hello all; There are no certified ashtanga studios (or teachers that I know of), in my area. Does anyone know of a workshop/week-long intensive where I can truly study the primary series in person instead of from books and videos? I currently have a dedicated daily asana practice, both in the studio and at home, but I am very drawn to ashtanga and want to learn from a certified teacher. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. ~Namaste

Guest guest
I've taken several short workshops with both David Swenson and Richard Freeman when they've been at YJ conferences. They are both awesome--I can't say enough good things about both of them. Both have an amazing practice (heck, the physical alone is impressive), great sense of humor, humbleness and many nuggets of wisdom to offer. I highly recommend either one and be sure to share back with us if you end up going!
