Guruji's ninetieth year birth-day celebrations:-

 

Preparation to celebrate 90th birthday of Guruji Yogasana Visharada

Vidwan K. Pattabhi Jois, in Mysore has begun.

 

Guruji with his daughter Saraswathi came to the house of Master ji

to invite personally Master ji and his family members. This is a

matter of great honor and delight to the student when his GURU

visits the house of the student to invite him. The birthday of

Guruji will be on 21st July 2005. Master ji with his family will be

in Mysore on 20th July 2005 and stay there till the completion of

the birthday celebration.

 

The students of Master ji who were in the class when Guruji came to

invite Master ji had a pleasant surprise. Most of them had not seen

him earlier. Master ji asked them to offer their respect to Guruji

which they did gladly and with a deepest sense of respect.

Incidentally most of them had accompanied Master ji to the birth

place of Guruji, Kowshika where they had the experience of the

innocent and pure love of the relatives of Guruji.

 

Saraswathi, the daughter of Guruji had a few pleasant words for the

students of Master ji and surprised them when she said she had come

to invite the members of her family, that is the family of Master ji.

 

Guruji was looking very relaxed and content. He was very

affectionate and sat in the house of Master ji unusually for a long

period. He was smiling and chatting with every one in the house of

Master ji with his classic jokes. Master ji wishes Guruji to live a

long life.

 

Guruji is in the period, rather the stage of life, where the

students should go and seek his blessings more than expecting

classes from him. . . .
