Guest guest
Michael Gannon is giving a residential two-week intensive for prospective teachers at Purple Valley Retreat in Goa, from 26th November, and there are a couple of places which have just come available because of cancellations. This workshop is best suited to those who are looking to gain authorisation eventually, and have an established practice. Not suitable for beginners, and experienced teachers would probably know most of the coursework already. Michael will cover all the principles of Ashtanga and teaching it, including adjustments, managing a class and dealing with student problems and problem students. There is plenty of time for private discussions with Michael if you have any problem issues concerning your teaching, or plans to teach. The 50 hours of classes spread over the two weeks can count towards Yoga Alliance accreditation, and the workshop is recommended for trainee teachers on their way to Mysore to work towards authorisation. All details at the Purple Valley web site www.yogagoa.com 22 weeks of workshops from November to April. Om shanti.
