Guest guest
Hello, I have a question about hand position while in the forward bends of the primary series. I am clear on intense western facing posture C that the left hand grabs the right wrist. I have seen many people practice the wrist grab in other forward bends, such as janu sirsasana, but I get confused here as to whether this is classical technique - is the only posture that technically has a wrist grab paschi. C? I have consulted David Swenson and Beryl Bender Birch's books for this, and it appears as though interlacing the fingers around the bottom of the foot is the classical position. Any input? Does it really matter anyway? Thanks...
