Guest guest
Hi Diana, yeah, I can understand the frustration there. Luckily for me I live in Hong Kong. Anyway, Duncan Wong has a studio in Shanghai. I've not been to his studio but I think he could be someone you could talk to. When Sharath was in town a couple of months ago he was also in Hong Kong though we've not formally been introduced. Good Luck, Kelly
Guest guest
Diana, I can understand why it would be difficult to teach the philosophical side of yoga in china. A suggestion; rather than define the experience as one of spiritual experience, why not try to redefine it as a bio feedback, mind directed and focused approach, integrated with physical exercise. In short, give them the same experience, but using semantics, define it differently. How we define what happens to us both physically and spiritually really is a matter of semantics, so calling it something different won't change their experience. Granted, this will take some work on your part in coming up with a new "language" but it might even help you grow as you are forced to look at things differently in order to define them differently to pass them on. Good luck. Randy
