Can anyone make any recommendations for Ashtanga in the area -- or if not Ashtanga specically, any studios that have classes with dedicated teachers? Thanks ahead of time! Guest guest Posted December 28, 2005 Report Share Posted December 28, 2005 one of my friends in Charlotte says "As far as Ashtanga in Charlotte...there is a great teacher named Johnna Smith at the Harris YMCA...she teaches Ashtanga on Monday nights at the Harris YMCA and sometimes she does some Ashtanga at local Yoga studios. You might be able to reach her via email at Johnnayoga @hotmail.com. I think that she trained in Mysore. I take her classes whenever I can."
