Guest guest
Hi! I need to know that whether practicing yoga during the morning hours or practicing it during the evening times or practicing it during my lunch break which will be better? Because according to my knowledge I came to understand that it would be better to practice Yoga during the morning hours as it would yield a lot of benefits. But unfortunately I had got the practice of doing Yoga in the evenings due to my work. But more unfortunately I didn't have the time to practice yoga in the evenings also. After that I have purchased an online Software of yoga from www.yogasanalive.com and downloaded it on my mobile and started practicing yoga during my lunch break. Is it ok to practice yoga during my lunch hour? When I can practice yoga after having my lunch? Or before my lunch? Now Iam having the practice of doing yoga before taking lunch is it the correct way? Or is there any suggestions for me to practice yoga in any other alternate manner? Friends will you please respond me with your ideas? Expecting eagerly the responses…….. Thanks in advance…….. kalai
Guest guest
I think the best is to practice in the morning. The mind is not so easily distracted and you start the day by pumping up your fire. Plus, it's just good business to do the most important things first. But you have to practice when you can, and lunch time is better than no time. Make sure you give yourself a good rest at the end. The minimum is 5 minutes of savasana for every 30 minutes of practice. It's best not to eat for at least three hours before practice. You'll work this out from your own experience. If you start burping up your tuna sandwich you'll know you didn't wait for long enough. Om bruva.
Guest guest
First thing in the morning is great for many reasons, such as empty stomach, quiet time of day, get practice done first thing, less likely to miss practice, etc, etc. It is also a bit harder for some because one tends to be a bit stiff early in day. However, if you can't do morning, anytime is fine. Try not eat for at least 3 hours before practice if you practice later in day.
