The famous "mantra maatrukaapushhpamaalaa" of Shri Shankara expresses the supreme idea of mAnasa puja and serves as the best way to worship the universal mother. kallolollasitaamR^iutaabdhilahariimadhye viraajanmaNi- dviipe kalpakavaaTIkaaparivR^iute kaadambavaaTyujjvale. ratnastambhasahasranirmitasabhaamadhye vimaanottame cintaaratnavinirmitaM janani te siMhaasanaM bhaavaye..1.. In the midst of rolling waves in the ocean of nectar shines the island of gems (maNidvIpa), there, encompassed by the heavenly wish-granting trees (kalpakavaaTikaa), And within the brilliant enclosure of kadamba trees, in the hall with thousands of diamond pillars, On a marvelous pedestal, let me visualize that throne of yours (simhaasanaa) stud with precious gems of mental thought. eNAN^kaanalabhaanumanDalalasacChriicakramadye sthitaaM baalaarkadyuthibhaasuraaM karatalaiH paashaankushau bibhratiim. caapaM baaNamapi prasannavadanaaM kausumbhavastraanvitaaM taaM tvaaM candrakalaavatamsamakuTaaM caarusmitaaM bhaavaye..2.. Isolated at the center of the Sri Chakra shining with its three spheres of moon, sun and fire, with a splendor of rising sun, Holding the lasso, the sphere, the bow and the arrows in your hands; Your crown carrying the digit of the moon, Your happy face displaying the radiant smile; let me visualize you. IshaanaadipadaM shivaikaphalakaM ratnaasanam te shubhaM paadyaM kuMkumacandanaadibharitairarghyaM saratnaakshataiH. shuddhairaacamaniyakam tava jalairbhaktyaa mayaa kalpitaM kaarunyaamR^iutavaaridhe tadakhilam saMtushhTye kalpataam ..3.. My offering of a diamond seat for you, held by ishaana and others as support with siva as a single plank resting in them, please accept; my padyam of water (for washing the feet) scented with saffron, sandalwood, and other perfumes; my arghaya (for washing hands) filled with gems and akshhatA. With devotion I submit pure water for your achamaniyam, O!
