Guest guest
This is the seventh name in shrii miinaaxii ashhTottaram. kadamba means a collection or multitude, and it denotes the cosmos. SHE is the lord (ishii) of this cosmos. This implies that SHE not only transcendent but also immanent. SHE is indeed all this as material cause of this jagat. kadamba is one of the five different kalpaka vR^ixam-s and in adhyaatmika sense, it will denote the manas vR^iddhi steeped in sattva. Hence, SHE is the ruler of mind. In a sense, when we say SHE is the ruler of the cosmos, at adhyaatimika level SHE is the ruler of an invidual shining in the daharaakaasha. SHE sustains and enlivens the human consciousness. Our joy is a mere fragment of HER unfathomable bliss and our consciousness is mere reflection of HER cosmic consciousness. Or kadamba can denote kadamba vanam which is madhuraapurii and SHE is its sovereign. The term kadamba could denote the kadamba gardens which enlcose the chintaamaNi gR^iham and SHE is Lord of that.
