This name occurs as chaaruhaasaa in the sahasranaamam. chaaru denotes a

state which does not wax or wane, often, in the context of moon. HER smile

which showers the nectar of bliss on HER devotees like moon light, neither

waxes nor wanes. Name such as these reflect on the sthuula aspect of

devata.

 

This smile of devii can be witnessed in jnaani-s, for they are

non-different from HER. Their smile reveals the inner contenment (absorbed
