Guest guest
the below pictures are of mata ugra pratyangira and sarabheswara(a very ugra avatar of siva). The relation between pratyangiramba and lalithambika appears in the uttara pItika of lalithA sahasranAma where lord hayagriva says that whoever performs abhichara on the one who recites the sahasranama will be destroyed by pratyangirAmba. although this photo shows her with one head. some photos show her with ten thousand lion heads. she was described as "sata sahasra simhavadane"in some books. "Sarvaloka Bayamkari, Sarvaloka Rakshaki, Rowdhri, Sarvamangala Swaroopini, Sarva Sathru Samhari, Adhi ParaSakthi" MAA UGRAPRATHYANGIRA DEVI is hailed as ATHARVANA KALI in the Atharvana Veda. SRI SARABHESWARA is LORD SIVA. SIVA himself has taken this terrible form of half-bird half-animal. He has the trunk and legs of an animal, and the wings and claws of a bird. He has a terrible countenance with bared fangs and a lolling tongue. LORD SARABHESWARA will destroy with the force of a cyclone, the obstacles in the path of a devotee, and annihilate like a forest inferno a Dhushta's influence upon him. It is said in some slokas that mother durga and kali are on either side of lord sarabheswara. AUM.
